The Long Walk into the Future

This painting is of a journey most of us understand, even if we’ve never walked through a desert like this. A line of quiet figures moves slowly toward a strange, towering shape in the distance. No one is talking. No one really knows what they’ll find when they get there. But they keep walking anyway.

That’s a lot like life. We follow paths shaped by work, family, expectations, and hope, often unsure where they will lead. The dark cloaks make the people look almost the same, reminding us how easy it is to disappear into the crowd.

Yet every person is still walking on their own two feet. The jagged tower ahead could be fear, truth, change, or something bigger than all of us. The painting asks a simple question: when the road becomes uncertain, do you turn back—or keep going?
